How about gallops at the race course they have a swell buffet and ample parking.

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

Gallops is not a good idea because of ample parking, lots of people come, and seating is limited. I once went with aeromodellers, only 3 of us, we waited for 1/2 hour, got tired of waiting and went to Phoenix Mills to one of those joints which was quite empty, extremely good quality food, but a bit pricy. They do not accept table booking for breakfast.

Cheers harit

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

Why do we have to choose SoBo only?
How about Powai? Its centrally located & convenient for members coming from Navi Mumbai & Thane.
There are many nice restaurents in HIRANANDANI & ample parking too.

This is just my opinion.

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

For me its ideal but still the town side is a bit more organized . No hard feelings as the traffic now at the metro work etc is a little chaotic.

Please I am open for any place. We are open !

Cheers

Hi Guys ! Scheduled a drive for tomorrow from the Bandra side of the sea link around 8:15 am. Drive comfortably to Nariman Point and straight to the race course "ARC" side or any place decided by this evening .

All chatting there so that we beat the heat. Please give a confirmation as we need to get some bookings done if ARC is ok with everyone.

Need to inform a head count thanks . We settle payments there only

Cheers

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

Just back from a great drive . Nice set os wheels turned up with their respective owners. A good run to Nariman Point and straight to the Race course for some breakfast.

Some snaps taken and for all to enjoy

Re: The Classic Drive Thread. (Mumbai)

Nice to the see the Ex-Mysore Invicta on the road. How come we do not see this car in the Mumbai rallies?

The Valiant (69?) looks good. Any more pictures of that car?
