This morning was once a really hot start for both the wheels and us with lots of eye candy which has become a regular affair for the last two Sunday's at Fort.

After 15 years my 170v was finally out and about . Being used to American Classics for a while a vintage Certain feels different. Great turnout as usual and wonderful conversation and coffee.

Hey classic drive gang- There is a Vintage and Classic car rally scheduled to be held in Goa- supported by the GTDC- on the 1st of October 2016.

Many aficionados from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bangalore, Mysore etc are travelling/ driving down to participate. Many are driving down in their classic machines. Would be a nice drive cum participation- if anyone's interested.

Goa Tourism to organize the first ever Vintage Bike and Car Festival 2016 at the INOX Courtyard on October 1

More than 50 Vintage vehicles to Participate

Goa Tourism is gearing up to celebrate the greatest invention of yester years. While Classic cars have invaded the highways, the State of Goa has not forgotten the Vintage era and automobiles of heritage value that served the local populace then.

A one day Vintage Bike and Car Festival 2016, and the first of its kind, is being organized by Goa Tourism to promote the passion for restoring and maintaining vintage bikes and cars.

More than 50 such Vintage vehicles (bikes and cars only) are slated to drive down town in the capital city, come October 1, and will offer a feast for the eyes at the INOX Courtyard. The one day event is poised to be one that will be cherished for a long time. Vintage two-wheelers and four wheelers dated from 1933 to 1970 will be on display. Cars that one would get a glimpse of at the festival include the Austin, Morris, Cadillac, Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Volkswagen and bikes like Norton, BSA and BMW.

The tourism minister will flag off this unique festival on October 1 at Patto after which the vintage car and vintage bike rally will wind its way to the INOX courtyard for an exhibition between 10 am to 6 pm. Prizes for the oldest car and appealing car will be awarded in addition to prizes for several other competitions and activities.

Goa Tourism has invited all vintage bike and car owners, users and collectors to participate in the one day exciting festival. Those interested can contact Anil Dalal, GTDC – 9422057704/8379022215 to confirm their participation so that arrangements can be made for exhibiting the vehicles at the INOX Courtyard. On the spot registration will also be permitted.

Yes it is. Aside from the decals on the sides and the paint job, everything else is inaccurate!
