Whitefield Club Vintage car rally on 18th April - Bangalore

Hello all,

I'm told the Whitefield Club is organising a Vintage and classic car rally on the 18th of this month (Sunday 18th April,2010). The rally starts from the Whitefield Club, Whitefield, Bangalore, and about 40 cars are expected.

The cars are open for viewing from 11 AM onwards, at the Whitefield club premises.The Whitefield Club is a 100 year old institution in Whitefield, Bangalore.

A friend who is participating shall be sending me photos of the event once completed, which I shall post here.

It seems this is the first time I am getting news well in advance. Any more details please? I mean from 11AM one can see at Whitefield club does that mean by that time cars will be back from the rally? Please share more info if you have.

Seems the Whitefield Club is quite active. I remeber they recently had a rally, where I saw some cars on the road around whitefield and was wondering whats happening. The saw a post by Karl.

Karl. Have 2 queries on this.

1) Is it an open for all event?
2) What time does the rally start? Can we be there for the flag-off or can we only go at 11 a.m?

Pradip/ Spitfire: I will be going from Indiranagar. Let me know if any of you will be going from around here. We can all meet somewhere (maybe for breakfast) and go together or meet up there. Can make it a mini T-BHP meet

, there seems to be another rally scheduled on 17th April to inaugurate the new store opening of CKC (jewellers), the route is from lalbagh to Jayanagar 5th block where the store is located. I believe the event is sponsored/organized by Advaith motors.

I shall post the details later.

Sorry, the event is on 18th April Sunday morning, the flag off is at 11am from the new store in Jayanagar 5th block near Angadi silks.

I am going to be there to take some pictures, let me know if any other tbhpian is going to be there too...

As I understand, the grouping of cars are expected to be at 8.30 a.m. on Sunday at the Whitefield club. Once all the cars get grouped, there will be a drive to the Dua Nusa Villa project and local Whitefield areas. The cars are expected back to the Whitefield Club in the early afternoon for lunch for the participants.

My dad and I should be there in the Wolseley Ten.
