Thanks Ram. I too knew of only one RR with this gent but someone else was saying he had two so I was a bit confused.

Yes a golf or Golfers Coupe would have a square door just behind teh drivers door that opens to allow storage of a Golf bag. There are very few Golfers Coupes of even convertibles that exist in India.

Happy to oblige as always sir, its just that my PC was down all these days and is finally fixed and net working too......BUT am not able to upload ANY images here for now!!
I've been trying from 2 different browsers I have and no luck! This is really driving me up the wall!!

'will try some time later.

Reg. the wolseley pics., I do recall having barely managed (since it had drawn quite a crowd!) to take some when I first saw the car at a rally couple of years ago.
'will upload them later...again, when I'm able to!

What Car

Here is picture of a car which came from Hyderabad for the Bangalore Rally in 1996. APX 265 is a big american car which I have not been able to identify positively. Neither have I seen this car in this Forum. Wonder if this car is still in Hyderabad? Has a up draft carb. indicating to be late 20's/early 30's car

Wasif, you must be knowing this car. What is its history?

Yes Mohammed Bhai, I remember now, HUDSON it was. I remember this car attracted a lot of eyeballs. What has happened to this car as it has not been seen after that rally.

Karl, there only two other snaps of cars known to the Forum as below

DKG's uncles La Salle

If I am not wrong that red APX regestered Hudson was in the hands of Ranjit Malik at one point when he used to be based in Hyderabad.

Not sure where it is now though it appears must be around somewhere as it appears to be in excelent condition in those pictures.

Waiting to hear from Mohammed Bhai on this.

I doubt if this is a Hyderabad car. I have never seen it in any of the rally's from 60's onwards. It is indeed surprising if this is a Hyderabad car, well maintained but never seen on the roads !!

Well DKG, as you did mention in your chevy thread, there are quite a few hidden cars lying around in Hyderabad, which do surface one fine day!
