| Senior - BHPian  | Tiny Little Report Sadly I couldn't attend the event day of the rally. Instead, dropped down yesterday while the scrutiny was in progress. Mostly it was the regulars that keep coming every year, so didn't want to take photos of them again. Just refer to the report of the previous year's event. Only 2 new cars really caught my fancy. The first was this 1937 Plymouth coupe      The second was this 1934 Skoda. I'm a sucker for the oddball engineering which went into that age's European brands. For example, note that the wheels on this car have a negative camber at rest. When it is loaded, the wheels straighten  Also, the only suspension front and rear is in the form of an inverted leaf spring.    Some other random photos       Quote:

The Plymouth restoration is outstanding though I do not like the colour combo too much as I would have preferred a lighter body colour when dual colours are used. The Skoda is very unique and it is the first time I am seeing such a car. Cheers KPS | |
