Two cars sold, both in Delhi.

In 2005, I sold a 1993 Maruti 1000. I bought the car in 1999 for Rs. 165,000. Sold in 2005 for Rs. 48,000. The car had done approximately 50,000 km when we sold it, and it was in average condition.

In 2008, I sold a 2003 Indigo GLX (petrol). I bought the car in 2005 for Rs. 296,000. It had done 14,000 km, and was equipped with a six-disc CD changer and Sony system. In 2008, the car had done 38,000 km and it was sold for Rs. 150,000. It was in excellent condition.

I've now bought a January 2006 model Accord 2.4 in January 2009, which had done 28,000 km for Rs. 835,000. This was in excellent condition too.

Was expecting around 2,00,000/- for this one but almost every customer turned away, tried at 1,75,000/- still no response. Finally, I had to settle for 1,65,000/- because I knew with the launch of MANZA, old Indigo would go down considerably and Indica Turbo would take a dip further.

I sold my 2002 Wagon R during Jan 2009 for 1.45 Lakhs.I was the second owner and the car had run 42,000 kms. The overall condition was good.

I sold it as I upgraded to Hyundai i10. I got another 10k as the exchange bonus from Hyundai. The car was bought by "Mahindra first choice".

Color- Black( i still recall the hours of effort spent in polishing it, black REALLLY needs care!!!)

Seat Covers- Original Hyundai
Note: had just got it serviced, as i believe one should sell in a condition that one wants to buy( this is just me, not a rule as hardly see anyone follow this). It had some scratches etc which were cleared by putting an insurance claim
