Did you completely skip the 2-wheeler?

Yes, have been a car guy in past and preferred to stick to it. Quote:
Your cab waiting times look saner I've seen a minimum of 20 mins at home and 45 mins at work (both well within urban limits and 10 km apart). Usually I get a cab on first attempt from home, from work I see anywhere between 2 to 8 cancellations before I find a ride. Needless to say, I despise relying on them.

Fortunately, I have been staying at locality with mall and offices nearby so cabs availability here has been good.
But waiting time was more from places where I usually traveled to and back to home.

Just thought to calculate the cost for the rides that have been taken so far; it has been Rs. 22/km.
It involves the toll paid at Pune cantonment and occasional surcharges.
