Thanks. Deepak from Tyrestore also recommended the same. Stock size and replacing the tyres with Michelin XM1 +. Very reasonably priced too - I will have to pay around 5k with the Goodyears per him.

I guess Palio is Good Bet. But unfortunately the car is not designed for taller guys. I have my colleague who was so impressed with palio as he sat on my Palio piolet seat for a long drive. Smooth and enjoyable drive it was. But this guy is 6'2". Because of this he was not comfortable on drivers seat even after pushing the seat to farthest slot. Now if Palio has come with tilt steering, he would have probably purchased it.
For a normal built I find palio is much better choice than any of the other, if you are ready to take a 10% chance on A.S.S, but with TATA tie-up things seem improving
