X1 drive was not bad. The lack of armrest comfort and leather upholstery pushed me towards 320d. Had a tough time deciding till last minute.

Congratulations. Did you take finance from Audi? Id the discount you mentioned is the one due to lower interest rate offered by Audi finance or over and above that? When I checked it out, they didn't offer much cash discount but the loan interest rate offered was close to 5%.

Thanks drmohitg. This is just the discount from Audi. I have gotten better rates from other banks than Audi finance.

I have been in the market for the past 3 months or so and they offered me a discount of 1.75 lacs till October. Since the OTR would be touching almost 40 lacs, I told them I was postponing the purchase but a potential buyer and to keep me updated if any good deals came by.

Decided this would be the best time to purchase since the prices would be increased from next month and also the upcoming budget might not be favorable towards luxury car buyers. Also there is a proposal to tax the second car in Kerala though I'm not sure if and when that will happen.

What is the rate of interest you got from outside banks? When I checked they were offering around 50k cash discount and finance at 5% interest rate. What was the final OTR for you after the cash discount?

Didnt notice before but is the 50k a subvention from the bank? It must be a franchise/ DSA( direct sales associate ) of the bank? Must be a pretty huge one at that if to offer such heavy discount.

There is around 20-25K discount given normally but I didn't feel the need for any freebies as the car is full. So I asked him to give me more discount on the ex-showroom price.:D

The EcoSport was supposed to be delivered by November. However, the dealer cannot commit on a date even now. Plus a price revision is happening soon. So I might just cancel my EcoSport booking as I have now pre-booked a Honda City last week, the details of which are:

That is bad attitude from Ford. Why accept bookings when they can't deliver the said. The car may be good but this response from Ford is sending then on the listing end.
