I visited the MG showroom Wakad Pune today to book the MG ZS EV. The sales rep informed me that no subsidy is given to the company by center or state government. I have to pay the complete ex showroom price. They will give a set of documents to be submitted at a govt office in Mumbai to claim subsidy. So it means i have to buy a vehicle and then run to mumbai to submit my documents.
Can some one who has purchased an ev please guide about the process.
I am not to convinced about the process that i have to buy a vehicle and then keep following up with govt office for claiming subsidy.
Need your Experience and guidance

Is there any exemption on registration charges now on EVs in Haryana.

Though I have not bought an EV but as gathered from my colleagues if the registration charges are exempt then the dealer takes care of the same but the subsidy will come directly from the govt.

No. My registration will be in Delhi. Just getting a good deal in Gurgaon. You can buy anywhere and register anywhere. It is very common for people in Delhi, Haryana and UP to buy in any of these states as per convenience.

Take it to a good detailer who can help remove the dealer installed swirls and other minor factory imperfections. If you don’t want PPF, at least get a basic ceramic coating to help protect the paint and make washing much easier, if not then apply a good sealant and reapply as you see water repellency diminish. Please do not let your driver/daily car cleaner wash it as it will ruin the paint in a matter of days, either wash yourself once a week using good technique or have it done professionally (make sure they follow the correct technique too).
