Can't wait for delivery!
Just did the PDI today. What's fantastic is that it's a Jan 2012 car. The PDI checked out fine and I should get delivery in about 4 days after the registration's done.

re: The "I Booked my Car" Thread

Make : Skoda
Model : Rapid
Variant : 1.6 TDI CR, Elegance
Fuel : Diesel
Color : Candy White
Expected Delivery Date : Within 25 days
Dealer & City : St.Antony's, Cochin
Freebies : None.
Others : Buying this for my use in Cochin. I currently use my Laura TSI in Chennai and my Baleno in Cochin, and the wife uses the Fiesta 1.6. The Baleno has been a truly amazing car and I am not sure whether I will sell it - 12 years with me bought new and still feels new, looks new (with original paint that still shines like new - no teflon coat and waxed just once) and goes better than new !!! (doesn't even have rust in the water drain holes of the doors!!!)

Pre-registration inspection passed.

Being 2011 model, this car will have spent some time in stockyard, and I requested that they do a better job of cleaning it. Engine bay was quite dusty.

If my cheque clears by mid-day tomorrow, it will be registered immediately and delivered tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise, Monday.

Congrats Docaxe ! Do keep updates on the Zdi. Did you drive the VDi too , if so , is there any change in the L/V braking , assuming MSIL did heed the weak braking complaints ?

I am sure you must have thought through options and arrived at Civic , it's great choice. Now wonder the new model may be around the corner(but it is not as revolutionary as the current Civic, infact it's more like a blown up City) , yes there would be some features updates, engine updates, All said the current civic ages well and still is the benchmark in style, hassle free ownership , peppy and futuristic among its class!

I am keen to see the pictures of Urban titanium and did you not opt for Caska, I feel that a good compliment.

re: The "I Booked my Car" Thread

Make : Maruti
Model : Dezire Compact
Variant : ZDI
Fuel : Diesel
Booking Date : 5 Feb, 2012
Color : Blue
Expected Delivery Date : ha ha ha
Dealer & City : Sai Service
Freebies : Don't even ask any
Others: Final OTR 7.92 L with Sai Package of underbody + teflon and 4 yrs extended warranty

Got a call from dealer later that I need to sign 300 day waiting period declaration. Regular ZDI in Beige Colour in stock however I preferred to wait. Petrol versions in VXI trims available readily for compact dezire.

Now need to figure out how to beat this waiting period?

I don't think there is a need to mention fuel specifically for Honda cars, isn't it.
UT would look great on Civic.
