The car is the 2013 model they had as a showroom piece. It was made in October, 2013 and arrived in India in 2014. It has done 120 kms. The dealer had it fixed with rear seat entertainment as well. We got a huge discount since he wanted to get rid and its not he newest model.

The price includes cost of extended warranty. While the dealer had initially confirmed that the car will be allocated by end of December and delivery was scheduled in early Jan, I have been informed that due to certain delays in production the next batch will be available only in Jan 2015. Am awaiting the pricing and delivery details.

Also, the dealer has confirmed that it is the 5th car in the 2015 production line. Not sure if such data is available to them though.

Finally took the plunge after TD of Vento(DSG), Rapid(DSG), Fiesta(3 times, with 3rd for 50 kms), Polo GT Tsi. TDed ze Germans just because of the Auto and came out unimpressed by driving pleasure. Driving convenience is definitely there but not the pleasure.

Waiting for delivery now.
