OTR : Rs 21,57,675, original quoted OTR was Rs 22,03,350 without any discounts (inclusive of 5th and 6th year extended warranty, 4+1 Hi5! SVP, and B2B insurance).

Freebies : Essential kit (worth 10.5K INR)

Discounts : No cash discount or corporate discount offered by any of the dealers in Bangalore on the automatic transmission variants. They said they can give me a healthy cast discount if I am looking for a manual transmission car.

Got the B2B insurance for 48K, against the originally quoted price of 83K. Could have also pushed for 10K loyalty discount (on account of our VWAG history), but we didn't.

I believe I managed to knock off about 45K in total from the initially quoted OTR price. Ok in my books since we want delivery as fast as possible and also because this specific dealership quoted a price that was considerably lesser than all the other dealerships.

The OTR also includes the extended warranty for the 5th and 6th year. and the 4+1 Hi5! SVP

Guess this makes me an official VWAG fanboy, now as the Taigun makes it the 5th VWAG car that we have bought in the last 10 years
