The Rexton is not that pricey compared to Innova. And even less if you probably match it feature to feature. The Innova VX costs almost 16+L OTR now. The Rexton should be around 20L.

When I had checked 3 months ago, Rexton was 23L on-road in Bangalore, while Innova VX was around 15L+ I guess - so almost 50% increase in pricing, and besides, you get a lot of other options in 20-25L price bracket.

Why can't you try nissan evalia.? It has similar seating capacity and better pricing. Nissan build quality is also top notch.

XUV 5oo could be one option. but you can't expect the quality in refinement as well as interiors of Toyota in any means. As far as Rexton is considered, cost of maintenance would be very high (compared to Innova).

Well, I do own an Innova(09) and a Fortuner(2010)..

The '09 innova has done 1.08 lac kms.. and we were thinking of replacing it as had got simply bored of it.

But couldn't find a decent replacement for it. Besides my dad finds the Fortuner's ride too stiff & steering too heavy for him in the city.

So, I got the Innova, all dented & repainted from the front bumpers to replacing the fog lamps & repairing the side under body (rocker panel, iirc).

Now, retaining the Innova and have got new seat covers for it . Intend to drive it till it falls apart.

O.T. Have seen my very widely travelling Uncle's company Innova doing 3.55 lac kms without any major repairs, just servicing, brakes and tyres.

So, no! The only replacement for an Innova is currently an Innova .
