20 years with my Hyundai Santro - thankful for the memories we made

A lot of important events in my life have happened with Santro, like getting my first job, getting married, and having a child.

My Hyundai Santro has been around for almost 20 years and is still going strong. There's nothing more exciting or memorable than buying your first car. It's even more memorable if you've never driven before.

In 2005, I bought a Hyundai Santro XK, the base model, which was my first car. The only frills it had was an AC. I had no idea that this car would become such an important part of my life. I was drawn to the Santro right away because of how sleek and stylish it looked. Because it was small and easy to drive, it was great for someone like me who had never driven before. When I took the wheel for the first time, I felt proud and excited.

One small problem, though: I didn't know how to drive! That didn't stop me, though. That was my goal: to learn, and what better way than to do it by myself? Now that I had the keys to my new car, I decided to teach myself how to drive. Even though it was scary at first, I became more comfortable behind the wheel each day.

The first drive out of the showroom was an event I will never forget. Satpreet, my friend, agreed to come with me to pick up the car, but he didn't know that I had never driven before. I could feel my heart beating fast as we drove away from the store. To my surprise, though, the car was really simple to drive, and I quickly got the hang of it. A few starts and stops after releasing the clutch, but I eventually figured it out. My friend was shocked and he was leaning halfway out of the window asking people to clear our path. We drove around town all day, enjoying the freedom that comes with having your own car.

The Santro has grown on me over the years. It has been with me everywhere, on all of my trips, and in the process, I have made memories that I will treasure forever. I've taken it off-road a few times, and gone on long road trips in it. A lot of important events in my life have happened with Santro, like getting my first job, getting married, and having a child. The Santro is still running well today, even though it is old. It shows how good Hyundai cars are and how dedicated they are to doing their best.

Over the years, I've taken good care of the car, and it's never let me down. There's more to my Hyundai Santro than just getting around. It represents my freedom. I'm thankful for the memories it has helped me make. The car still works well after almost twenty years, and I know I can always count on it. As much as I don't want to give up my Santro, the time has come to upgrade and we picked up another Hyundai. I drive the Ioniq 5 and could not have asked for more!
