2015 Audi A7 Sportback facelift spotted testing in India

German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has started testing the 2015 A7 Sportback facelift in India. A picture of the car being tested on our roads has surfaced on the internet.

The facelifted A7 looks very similar to the current model. This is because the changes made to the exterior are mild. At the rear, for instance, the tail lamps come with LED light strips instead of the conventional LED lights of other Audis. The rear bumper and exhaust have been redesigned as well. At the front, the bumper and the grille of the car have been restyled and the headlamps now get the Matrix LED lighting system.

The interiors of the A7 have been refreshed and come with a new Multi Media Interface (MMI) system with touch interface and NVidia graphics processor. The materials used for the interior are also new.

The badge on the boot of the A7 says 3.0TDI, which suggests that the car will come with Audi's new 3.0-litre diesel engine that produces 268 bhp and 600 Nm of torque.

The A7 facelift is expected to be launched in India next year and will compete against the Mercedes-Benz CLS and the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.
