2016 India Speed Week to be held from December 9

Official dates of the 2016 India Speed Week have been revealed. The event will take place in Kolkata on the 9th, 10th and 11th December 2016. It was earlier scheduled for the month of January this year, but had to be delayed due to some missing government approvals.

The 2016 ISW will be organised by Elite Octane Inc., which also manages The Valley Run in Aamby Valley, Maharashtra. The organisers are now bringing the drag racing experience to Kolkata. The event will be held at the runway of the Behala Flying Club. It will be governed by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

An unveiling event for the 2016 ISW will take place on October 26 in Kolkata. Further details about the event are expected be revealed thereafter.
