2017 Honda CBR 650F launched at Rs. 7.30 lakh

Honda has launched the 2017 CBR 650F in India. The bike is priced at Rs. 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Honda has updated the CBR 650F for 2017. It gets new full-LED headlights and tail light and Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) type fork. Also, the handle bars have been lowered by 13 mm. The dimensions remain unchanged and it measures 2,107 mm length, 753 mm in width, 1,149 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,449 mm. It has 133 mm of ground clearance and weighs 216 kg. It comes with a 17.3-litre fuel tank.

The 2017 CBR 650F is powered by a 648.72cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The engine produces 85.4 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 60.5 Nm of torque @ 8,500 rpm. The bike features a new intake and the 4-1 exhaust now employs a less restrictive muffler.

It uses a 41-mm telescopic fork suspension in the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. It is equipped with an aluminium swingarm. Brakes come in the form of 320-mm dual discs with 2-piston calipers in the front and a 240-mm disc with a single piston caliper in the rear. It rides on 17-inch rims shod with 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17 tyres in the front and rear respectively.

The 2017 Honda CBR 650F is available in the choice of two colours - Millennium Red and Matt Gun Powder Black Metallic.
