The 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift will be launched in India on April 20, 2017. We had earlier posted a couple of spy shots of the updated model that gave a first look at the changes made to the mid-life facelift. A new set of images has now surfaced, offering a clearer view of the updated car.

The 2017 Xcent features some cosmetic tweaks at the front and rear ends. The front grille is now wider and gets a hexagonal shape with a thick chrome border. It houses five chrome-lined horizontal slats, the Hyundai logo and the front number plate. The bumper too is a new unit as it now gets a slim black area that stretches throughout the width of the car and surrounds the fog lamps. This black insert also houses the new LED daytime running lamps. Meanwhile, the rear gets wider split tail lights, a new boot lid with a chrome bar in the centre and a new bumper with a slim black section on the lower part.

The car in the spy images appears to be a mid variant as it misses out on alloy wheels, but gets LED daytime running lamps. Other features visible in the images include ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators and reverse parking sensors.

The 2017 Xcent facelift is expected to be offered with the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is available in the pre-facelift model. Meanwhile, the diesel version will get a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder unit that will be replacing the earlier model's 1.1-litre power plant.
