2017 Land Rover Discovery teased

Land Rover has teased the 2017 Discovery through an official image that reveals the SUV's front profile. The British automaker has also announced that the new Discovery will make its world premiere on the September 28, 2016, just before this year's Paris Motor Show. An India launch is expected later next year.

The revealed front-end looks quite a lot similar to various Range Rover models currently on sale. As a result, the new Discovery's looks are quite different from its previous models.

Earlier spy shots of the 2017 Discovery have shown that the SUV might retain the asymmetrical tail gate design and the benchmark 'alpine' roof profile which rises at the rear. This roof structure helps in liberating more room for the third row passengers.

Official specifications of the new Discovery haven’t yet been revealed. But reports suggest that the company will employ its Ingenium engines, with both petrol and diesel four-cylinder and six-cylinder versions.
