2017 Nissan GT-R spotted in India ahead of official launch

We had recently reported that the 2017 Nissan GT-R has been imported into India. Now, the sports car has been spotted for the first time on Indian soil. Media sources claim that the car spotted is one amongst the batch of six cars that arrived at the Mumbai International Airport and is awaiting customs clearance. The 2017 GT-R is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year.

Nissan India has already started accepting pre-bookings for the new GT-R. Interested customers need to pay a booking amount of Rs. 25 lakh. Sources further suggest that the first batch of cars has already been sold.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-litre, twin-turbo, V6 engine that churns out 562 BHP @ 6,800 rpm and 637 Nm of torque, while being mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The GT-R is known for its acceleration capabilities, which give it a 0-100 km/h time of under 3 seconds.
