2017 Nissan Terrano facelift to launch on March 27

Nissan will launch the 2017 Terrano facelift in India on March 27, 2017. The updated model will just be a mid-life cosmetic facelift and thus won't feature any mechanical change.

The Terrano facelift is expected to get redesigned headlamp assemblies which will now feature LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). The front and rear bumpers will be slightly tweaked, while the taillights too will get minor alterations. No major change will be made to the crossover's side profile, though it might get a new set of alloy wheels.

On the inside, while the cabin layout won't be revised comprehensively, there are some feature additions expected with the Terrano facelift. These could include a new touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors, a reverse parking camera and an automatic climate control. Additionally, Nissan might also make ABS with EBD and dual airbags a standard feature on the updated Terrano. Other features that could be on offer are - electrically folding ORVMs, driver arm rest, anti-pinch driver side window and more.

Since there won't be any mechanical changes, the 2017 Terrano will continue to be offered with two engine options - a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.6-litre petrol. The diesel will be available in two states of tune: 108 BHP & 243 Nm available with a 6-speed manual transmission or an AMT, and 84 BHP & 200 Nm available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol mill will churn out 103 BHP and 145 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
