2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650 launched at Rs. 5.49 lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2019 Ninja 650 in India. The bike is available in the metallic flat spark black colour, which is priced at Rs. 5.49 lakh. The KRT Edition, which was introduced last year, is priced at Rs. 5.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

In terms of styling, the 2019 Ninja 650 is identical to last year's model. It has twin headlights with turn-indicators placed on the fairing, a short windshield, stepped seat and an underbody exhaust. 

There are no mechanical changes either. The Ninja 650 sports a 41 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. It is powered by a 649 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine, which puts out 67 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 65.7 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. Stopping power comes from twin 300 mm petal type disc brakes at the front and a single 220 mm petal type disc at the rear, while ABS is provided as standard.

Kawasaki is also selling the 2018 Ninja 650 in India. The bike is available in a blue colour.
