2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan launched at Rs. 2.01 lakh

Royal Enfield has launched the updated Himalayan. The adventure tourer is priced at Rs. 2,01,314 (ex-showroom, Chennai).

The 2021 Himalayan gets a host of updates including Royal Enfield Tripper turn-by-turn navigation which is based on the Google Maps platform and can be paired via the Royal Enfield App to the rider's smartphone. The bike also gets an updated seat, rear carrier, front rack and a new windscreen.

The Himalayan is powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder engine as before. It produces 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It is equipped with 300 mm and 240 mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively. The bike has dual-channel ABS, wherein ABS for the rear wheel can be switched off.

The Himlayan is now available in three new colour options - New Granite Black, Mirage Silver and Pine Green. The bike is also available in Rock Red, Lake Blue and Gravel Grey shades. Customers will be able to personalize their bikes using Royal Enfield's Make It Yours (MiY) tool.
