2021 Yamaha Ray ZR Hybrid scooter unveiled

The Ray-ZR Hybrid uses a 125cc engine paired with a hybrid system.

Yamaha has taken the wraps off the 2021 Ray ZR Hybrid scooter.

The 2021 Ray ZR uses a 125cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is assisted by a hybrid system. While Yamaha hasn't provided any details about this powertrain, it is expected to be identical to the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid.

The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid was also revealed last week. It comes with a 'smart motor generator' (SMG) that offers a power boost when accelerating. It also gives the scooter automatic start / stop capability.

Coming back to the Ray ZR, the scooter comes with a new LED headlight and an updated instrument console with Bluetooth.

The Ray ZR Hybrid will be launched in the Indian market in a few months.
