2022 Hyundai Venue facelift spied in South Korea

The Venue shares its underpinnings with the Kia Sonet and is offered with three engine options.

A test mule of the Hyundai Venue facelift has been spotted in South Korea. The updated crossover is expected to make its global debut next year.

The spy images suggest that the Venue will retain its split headlamp set up with the main projector lights positioned on the front bumper. The car also appears to have a redesigned grille. Similarly, the LED taillights have also been updated. Gone are the rectangular units. They have been replaced with L-shaped lights.

Under the skin, the Venue facelift will be identical to the current car. In India, the sub-4 meter SUV is offered with three engine options - a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
