2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 launched at Rs. 4.99 lakh

The Ninja 400 competes with the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and the upcoming BMW G 310 RR.

Kawasaki has launched the 2022 Ninja 400 at a price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike has been upgraded to comply with the BS6 emission norms. It will be imported via the CBU route.

The Ninja 400 BS6 looks similar to the BS4 version. It features a sharp front end with twin headlamps and a single-can side-slung exhaust. The bike is available in two colour options: Lime Green (KRT Edition) and Metallic Carbon Gray.

Powering the Ninja 400 is a BS6-compliant 399cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that makes 44.8 BHP @ 10,000 rpm and 37 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.

The Ninja 400 comes with telescopic fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It features disc brakes at both ends equipped with dual-channel ABS.
