2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza launched at Rs. 7.99 lakh

The 2022 Maruti Brezza rivals the Hyundai Venue facelift, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the likes.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 Brezza in India. The crossover is available in four variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+, with prices starting at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2022 Brezza gets a redesigned exterior featuring a new grille and twin-pod headlamps with dual L-shaped LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the Brezza now comes with slim wraparound tail lamps with the ‘Brezza’ lettering in the centre and gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels as well.

Inside, the new Brezza comes equipped with a dual-tone dashboard with a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The car also gets an Arkamys sound system and features like wireless charging, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a head-up display, cruise control, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof as well as voice commands and connected car features.

The Brezza comes loaded with multiple safety features which include 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, hill-hold assist and ISOFIX.

Powering the Brezza is the new-gen 1.5-litre K-Series mild-hybrid petrol engine that debuted on the Ertiga. This motor develops 102 BHP and 135 Nm and comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
