2022 MG Hector teased; to get 14-inch touchscreen

The 2022 MG Hector is also expected to get Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

MG has released the first teaser of the next-generation Hector. The image reveals the SUV’s new 14-inch Portrait infotainment system.

The new vertically oriented touchscreen is just one of the changes made to the Hector. The SUV is also expected to get a redesigned dashboard and a digital instrument cluster. On the outside, the updated model will receive a new front fascia featuring a larger grille.

Another major update will be the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This safety feature is likely to be offered on the top-spec Savvy trim.

Rumours suggest that the 2022 Hector could be launched by the end of the year. The SUV is unlikely to receive any mechanical updates. It will continue to use the same 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrains.
