2023 BMW X1: A close look during the Joytown event in Bangalore

The M Sport version gets a 'Boost' mode that puts the SUV in an aggressive setting for a short duration to help with overtaking.

Got to check out the BMW X1 today at the Joytown in Bangalore:

Launched in two variants, X Line (petrol) and M Sport (diesel). Here is an M Sport finished in M Portimao Blue:

sDrive18i X Line gets a three-cylinder 1.5L petrol producing 134 HP and 230 Nm and the sDrive18d M Sport gets a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel producing 148 HP and 360 Nm. Maybe that's why no engine badges on the boot:

No more rotary knobs on the centre console. It now has the drive selector, engine start/stop button, drive modes, parking brake, parking camera, and the iDrive vehicle settings menu. There's also audio control:

Rear seats have a forward/backward movement up to 130mm and are split 40:20:40 with a reclining seat backrest. Rear seat comfort is clearly a priority:

A silver M Sport was also present. The car has a digital key which works with your smartphone for lock and unlocks features. The Adaptive LED headlights come with reverse assist:
