2023 KTM Duke 125 spied testing ahead of unveil

It is even expected to borrow a number of features from its larger sibling, the Duke 390.

KTM is working on updates for its entry-level streetfighter offering, the Duke 125. Scheduled to be unveiled sometime in 2023, the new KTM Duke 125 has been spotted undergoing testing internationally. The entry-level Duke is expected to receive significant mechanical and cosmetic updates. It is even expected to borrow a number of features from its larger sibling, the Duke 390.

As seen from the spy images, the new KTM Duke 125 seems to feature a tweaked trellis frame, a new engine casing for its 125cc liquid-cooled unit, a repositioned catalytic converter, and it has a newly designed swingarm compared to the current model. The spy images also reveal changes to the rear sub-frame that looks similar to the latest-gen Duke 390, while the wheels and brakes look similar to the 2022 KTM Duke 200. The bike is equipped with USD forks from WP at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.

While the 2023 Duke 125 is expected to carry forward the same 125cc unit, it will receive better tuning, which could result in better performance and efficiency. The exact specifications of the updated engine are yet to be announced.
