BMW Motorrad has launched the latest iteration of its premium maxi-scooter, the C 400 GT in India. It is priced at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be imported via the CBU route.
The 2025 edition of the C 400 GT features a few cosmetic changes. It has a V-shaped LED headlight with an integrated LED DRL, an adjustable windshield and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console.
The new C 400 GT has a comfy stepped seat, which is now set at a height of 765 mm as opposed to 775 mm on the previous model. The underseat storage capacity has been increased to 37.6 litres and the right storage compartment now has a volume of 4.5 litres.
The Blackstorm metallic version gets a black seat, black rims and black brake calipers. The new ‘Exclusive’ variant comes in a diamond white metallic shade with gold rims with matching brake calipers, a tinted windshield, floor lighting with a BMW logo projection and stainless-steel footboard inserts.
The C 400 GT is powered by a 350cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 33.5 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 35 Nm @ 5,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The C 400 GT is equipped with BMW Motorrad ABS Pro as standard. The scooter also has Dynamic Brake Control, Traction Control, Engine Drag Torque Control, Ride-by-Wire and Keyless Ride.
