Honda has unveiled the facelift version of its latest-generation City sedan in the Brazilian market.
The new Brazil-spec 2025 Honda City facelift comes with a bunch of updates, both to its exterior and interior, while retaining the same powertrain as before.
The new Honda City facelift in Brazil is similar to the Indian-spec model, albeit with a different front grille with horizontal lines instead of the diamond-shaped elements seen on the sedan in India. Other changes include a white and black cabin with white leatherette upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold feature. In addition, the wireless charging pad is now moved behind the gear lever, while the volume control dials and touch-sensitive buttons are also different on the facelift version.
The 2025 Honda City facelift unveiled in Brazil carries forward the same powertrain as the current model. This comes in the form of a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 120 BHP and 145 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Brazil doesn't get the hybrid powertrain offered in India.
The 2025 Honda City could make its way to the Indian market sometime next year. It will be offered with both powertrain options but with a slight price bump. The 2025 Honda City update will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.
