2025 Honda Scoopy design patent filed; India launch unlikely

This is not the first time that Honda has patented the Scoopy in India.

Honda has filed a design patent for the 2025 Scoopy in India. The neo-retro scooter is currently sold in Indonesia.

The overall design of the Honda Scoopy hasn’t changed much for the 2025 model year. It features a curvy front apron, which houses a circular LED headlamp and D-shaped indicators.

The Scoopy is equipped with an LCD instrument console, a Smart Key with keyless ignition, an anti-theft alarm, and a single-piece seat.

The Scoopy is powered by a 109.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9 BHP and 9.2 Nm and is paired with a CVT gearbox.

The scooter is based on an underbone chassis with a telescopic fork in the front and a single shock absorber in the rear. The brake setup comprises a front disc and a rear drum brake.

This is not the first time that Honda has patented the Scoopy in India. We don't expect it to be launched anytime soon.
