The 2025 Jeep Meridian has been launched in India. The SUV is available in four variants – Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O) and Overland, with prices starting at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in 5- and 7-seater configurations.
The latest iteration of the Meridian features subtle design changes. The signature 7-slot grille has been carried over. It is flanked by LED headlamps with dynamic indicators and the rear features LED taillights with satin chrome accents.
Inside, the updated Meridian gets vegan leather with suede accents and copper stitching. The seats, dashboard, and armrest are wrapped in soft-touch materials. In terms of features, the SUV is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The Meridian comes with Jeep’s Uconnect suite with over 30 connected features, including Remote Engine Start/Stop with AC preconditioning, Connected One Box Navigation, Smartwatch extension, and Automatic SOS Call. The top-spec Overland variant also gets ADAS with over 10 safety features that include Adaptive Cruise control with Stop and Go, Intelligent Speed Assist, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning with Collision mitigation braking, Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Surround View Monitor, Smart Beam Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Driver Attention Alert; among others.
The updated Meridian is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as before. It produces 167 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission and optional 4-wheel drive.
