2025 Suzuki GSX-8R launched at Rs 9.25 lakh

The GSX-8R competes with the Triumph Daytona 660, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Aprilia RS 660.

Suzuki Motorcycle has launched the updated GSX-8R in India. The bike is priced at Rs 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It now complies with the OBD-2B norms.

The Suzuki GSX-8R is powered by a 776cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 82 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm @ 6,800 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via an assist and slipper clutch.

The GSX-8R features the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), which includes electronic rider assist systems like traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, a bi-directional quickshifter, riding modes, Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist.

The GSX-8R comes equipped with a Showa SFF-BP USD front fork and a Showa mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 310 mm discs at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear.

The 2025 GSX-8R is available in three colours: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2.
