2nd-gen Mahindra XUV500 Diesel AT interior spied

The cabin of the second generation XUV500 looks very upmarket and airy.

A diesel automatic variant of the next-generation XUV500 has been spotted testing. The latest spy images reveal the car's interior in more detail.

The cabin of the XUV500 looks very upmarket in these images, especially with the large dual-screen setup. Also, the dual-tone colour scheme makes the interior feel airy.

The centre console has a glossy finish. It houses a set of cup holders and has a rotary drive mode selector. The SUV will get a front centre armrest and adjustable headrests even for the third row.

The next generation XUV500 is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre mStallion T-GDi turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel unit. It will also get an optional 6-speed automatic transmission.

We have learned that the production of the new XUV500 could commence by the end of this month or end of April at the latest.
