3rd-gen Honda Amaze officially teased ahead of India launch

The 3rd-gen Honda Amaze will compete with the upcoming Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor in the Indian market.

Honda has released the first official teaser of the third-generation Amaze. The announcement comes just days ahead of the launch of the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

The teaser provides a glimpse of the upcoming Amaze. The digital sketch partially reveals the front fascia of the new compact sedan. It looks mighty handsome with its sharp lines and hexagonal grille.

The large grille has a different mesh design with the Honda logo in the centre. It is flanked by LED headlamps and the brand’s signature LED DRLs. The new Amaze is expected to get a redesigned rear fascia and a new interior equipped with all the latest tech.

Under the bonnet, the new-gen Amaze is likely to retain the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. This unit produces 89 BHP and 110 Nm and is available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
