3rd-gen Volvo S60 to be unveiled on November 27

The 3rd-gen Volvo S60 will be launched in Q1 of 2021.

According to a media report, Volvo is set to unveil the third generation S60 in India on November 27. The car will be launched in the first quarter of 2021.

The third generation S60 looks sleeker and more contemporary. It still features Thor's hammer LED daytime running lights at the front and has a reworked rear fascia with C-shaped LED tail lights. On the inside, the car gets a vertically mounted touchscreen infotainment head-unit just like the previous model.

Reports suggest that in India, the third generation S60 will be offered with one petrol engine. It could be offered in top-spec R-Design trim only. It is likely to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 187 BHP. This is the same engine that powers the XC40 in India. The India-spec S60 T4 is expected to be front-wheel drive and could be offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
