Hyundai has sent us a clarification that the car is NOT for the Indian market and is being exported to Nepal.

Hyundai has started dispatching the fourth generation Tucson to dealerships across India.

The new Tucson features Hyundai's Parametric dynamics design philosophy. It comes with half-mirror type daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The rear of the car features a full-width LED light bar with triangular tail lamp clusters.

On the inside, the SUV comes equipped with dual 10.25-inch touchscreens and a hoodless digital instrument cluster.

In the international market, the Tucson comes with a range of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, direct-injection petrol engine with 187 BHP and 247 Nm and 1.6-litre, turbo-petrol hybrid or plug-in hybrid with 227 BHP and 350 Nm. The diesel range includes 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre oil burners.
