The Tucson will take on SUVs like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Compass and the Citroen C5 Aircross.

Hyundai has announced that the fourth-generation Tucson will be unveiled in India on July 13, 2022. The SUV is likely to go on sale in the coming weeks.

The design of the new Tucson is based on Hyundai's Parametric Dynamics Philosophy, featuring half-mirror type daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The rear of the car features a full-width LED light bar with triangular tail lamp clusters.

Inside, the new Tucson gets dual 10.25-inch touchscreens and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV is also expected to come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The SUV is likely to be offered with 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Higher variants are expected to get all-wheel drive as well.

The Tucson will take on SUVs like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Compass and the Citroen C5 Aircross.
