All-electric BYD T3 MPV and T3 Minivan unveiled

China-based BYD has introduced the all-electric T3 MPV and T3 Minivan in India. The T3 MPV is a passenger vehicle, while the T3 Minivan is a commercial vehicle.

The T3 MPV and T3 Minivan come with features such as keyless entry, push-putton start, music system with Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking camera and parking sensors.

The company hasn't announced the details of the electric motors that power these vans. However, the claimed maximum range is 300 km and the batteries take 1.5 hours to recharge fully using a DC charger. The cars also support standard AC chargers.

Both cars come equipped with safety features including ABS with EBD, Electric Parking System (EPB) and Brake Override System (BOS). It also has regenerative braking and comes with Controller Area Network (CAN) bus communication system for fleet management and maintenance.
