Anand Mahindra hints at a new BSA bike on Twitter

Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra's recent tweet suggest that the company is working on a new bike that will be launched under the BSA brand. The "shiny new" bike is expected to be offered in India however Mr. Mahindra refrained from disclosing any specific details about its launch date or the bike itself.

Meanwhile, Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, M&M had earlier confirmed that the company was working on new BSA bikes without providing too many details about the project.

In October 2016, Mahindra & Mahindra acquired the British bike maker BSA Company for Rs. 28 crore. Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. - a Mahindra subsidiary had also entered into an agreement with the classic bike brand Jawa to bring Yezdi bikes to India. In July 2017, Anand Mahindra had confirmed this by sharing a link to Yezdi India's official website on Twitter.

Besides this, the company has also acquired 51% stake in France-based Peugeot Motorcycles.
