Andrew Palmer has resigned from the post of vice-chairman and CEO of Switch Mobility. He has also stepped down from his role as a Board member of Ashok Leyland.

Palmer was appointed as an Independent Additional Director of Ashok Leyland in 2015. He was also serving as the non-executive chairman of British bus maker Optare, which was later acquired by Ashok Leyland. In 2021, Palmer was appointed as the vice-chairman and CEO of Switch Mobility - an Ashok Leyland-owned electric vehicle brand.

The exact reason behind Palmer's exit from the company is not known. However, reports indicate that he is likely to focus on the Palmer Foundation, which is a charity that supports disadvantaged youths.
