Aprilia Tuono 457 Design patent filed in India

The Tuono 457 is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

Aprilia has filed a design patent for the upcoming Tuono 457 in India. The bike is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

The Tuono 457 is a naked version of the fully-faired RS 457. It has a sporty streetfighter design with an LED headlamp up front, an exposed frame and a stepped seat.

The Tuono 457 is equipped with a pre-load adjustable USD fork at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by ABS.

The Tuono 457 is powered by the same 457cc parallel-twin engine as the RS 457. It puts out 47 BHP and 43.5 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
