Ather launches the 450X e-scooter in Sri Lanka

Ather Energy began its global expansion in 2023 with the launch of the 450X in Nepal.

Ather Energy has launched its 450X electric scooter in Sri Lanka. The company recently inaugurated its first showroom in the capital, Colombo.

The Experience Centre has been set up in partnership with Evolution Auto Pvt. Ltd., which is also the national distributor for Ather e-scooters in Sri Lanka. The company will also set up Ather Grid fast-charging stations across the island nation.

Bangalore-based Ather Energy began its global expansion in 2023 with the launch of the 450X in Nepal. The first retail showroom was inaugurated in Kathmandu on October 12, 2023. A year later, the company is said to have established five Experience Centres and 16 Ather Grid fast-charging stations.

In India, Ather Energy has 239 showrooms across 175 cities. The company has also installed over 2,000 Ather Grid fast-charging stations across India.
