Ather Rizta leaked ahead of its official launch

The Ather Rizta will get an "anti-skid feature". It is likely to be an anti-lock braking system or ABS.

The Ather Rizta electric scooter has leaked ahead of its launch scheduled for April 6. The Rizta was spotted during a TVC shoot.

The Rizta looks like a conventional scooter designed with practicality and rider comfort in mind, unlike the 450 series, which has a more sporty appeal. Ather even calls it a “family scooter”.

The Ather Rizta has a flat seat with a pillion backrest and a flat floorboard. The e-scooter features a horizontal LED headlamp and slim wraparound taillight. It is also equipped with a digital instrument console similar to the 450X. 

The Rizta gets a telescopic front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. The brake setup will comprise of a front disc and a drum brake at the rear. Details about the battery and electric motor have not been revealed yet.
