Atsushi Ogata appointed President & CEO of Honda 2-wheelers

Atsushi Ogata has been appointed as the new President, CEO and Managing Director of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) with effect from May 1, 2020. He is also the Operating Executive at Honda Motor in Japan.

Mr. Atsushi Ogata takes charge from Minoru Kato who was heading the company for the last 3 years. He will be moving back to Japan.

V. Sridhar has been promoted to Senior Director, while Yadvinder Singh Guleria and Vinay Dhingra have been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria will also be responsible for customer service, logistics planning & control, premium motorcycle business, brand & communication as well as sales & marketing.

Vinay Dhingra will also handle Strategic Information System (SIS) along with General & Corporate Affairs.
