Audi e-tron GT India launch on September 22

Audi will be launching its e-tron GT in the Indian market on September 22, 2021. Bookings for the all-electric sedan have already begun, while deliveries will commence from January 2022.

Audi is expected to introduce both the GT and the performance-oriented RS variant in the Indian market. The 4-door electric sedan from the German brand comes packed with a host of features, including Matrix LED headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights and plenty of carbon-fibre elements all around the exterior and interiors of the car.

On the inside, the Audi e-tron GT comes with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected tech, premium artificial leather upholstery and plenty of other features as well.

The e-tron GT uses two electric motors; one on each axle, with a combined output of 469 BHP and 630 Nm. The 'overboost' function ramps up the output to 523 BHP. The RS version packs 590 BHP and 830 Nm. The rear motor is mated to a 2-speed transmission.

Audi claims that the e-tron GT will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 245 km/h. The car uses an 85 kWh battery that is said to provide a maximum range of 488 km on a single charge.

The RS version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. It has a maximum range of 472 km on a single charge.
