Audi Q5 facelift set to launch by end-November

The Audi Q5 will not get a diesel engine option this time around. Instead, the SUV is likely to be powered by a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine.

Electric vehicles (EV) have been the primary focus for Audi India in the first half of this year. But, before the sun sets on 2021, the carmaker will launch the Q5 facelift. The SUV is expected to go on sale by the end of November.

The new Q5 is likely to be offered with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The updated Q5 gets a new single-frame grille, redesigned bumpers, twin exhaust, as well as new LED headlights and taillights.

On the inside, the new Q5 gets a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit with the updated MIB 3 system. It comes with connected car features, including Amazon's Alexa and a digital instrument cluster.
